A trip through the region’s nature, culture and history. On your way you can visit Grimdalstunet, Åmdals-Verk mines, Vest-Telemark Museum at Eidsborg and Norwegian Skimuseum in Morgedal.
Panorama trip to Rjukan
Experience the top of Telemark and visit Vemork and the Norwegian industrial worker’s museum which also offers the story about the Heavy water war. If the weather is permitting, you can also see Gaustatoppen, the highest mountain in Telemark.
The Telemark Canal
The Telemark Canal stretches from Skien to Dalen with lots to see on the way. Our trips takes you through the most exciting part of the canal with locks opened and closed by hand power.
Take the car to Fyresdal. Here you can visit the rural museum, one of the cafées there or go to the mountain farm Kvipt, bordering Setesdalsheiene (the mountain range between Telemark and Agder).

A charming museum with many exhibitions, among others old cars, Persian rugs, old telephones and a 60’s style café.

Costal experiences in Kragerø
Experience the charming seaside town Kragerø with narrow streets, galleries, shopping and seaside activities. Don’t forget to visit the island Jomfruland when you’re here.
Only an hour’s drive from Vrådal is Bø Sommarland with Norway’s largest water park!
From fjords to mountains
It is possible to see the fjords in Hardanger on a day trip from Vrådal. Drive across Haukelifjell to Odda, situated in Sørfjorden in Hardanger.
Setesdal, South Norway and Kristiansand Dyrepark
This day trip has suggestions for several stops along the way, but you can also drive directly to Kristiansand and spend the whole day at Dyreparken (Kristiansand zoo).

Spend a day and visit them all, or choose your favourite.
Veteran boat M/S Fram
The boat is docked close to Quality Straand Hotel and the season runs from May to October. The boat can also be chartered for private events.
Vrådal is well suited for cycling.
