The veteran boat M/S Fram sails on the lakes Nisser and Vråvatn from Vrådal.
She operates from May to October with sightseeing tours in the beautiful inland archipelago.
On selected days, she also walks along the south elves towards Nissedal and Treungen.

For those who want to experience Lake Nisser and MS Fram, it is also possible to book a package with accommodation and lock cruises.
The tours run on Wednesdays and Saturdays at 15:00 in the low season August to September.
You can choose whether you want to arrive for a trip with MS Fram in the afternoon and then spend the night before you leave, or you can arrive the day before and join the lock cruise before you leave in the afternoon.

On the pier at Straand Sommerland is M/S Fram – ready to take you and yours out on a lock cruise in a beautiful island landscape with rolling rocks, beautiful beaches and national romantic mountains.
The boat sails from Straand pier at 3 pm and sails in the low season (21.05 – 17.06 and 08.08 – 19.10) on Wednesday and Saturday and high season (18.06 – 07.08) on Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Along the way, you pass Småstraum lock, Northern Europe’s highest located lock that is operated by hand as when it was built in 1914, and the lock museum. There are small islands, steep mountains and narrow straits. On board there is a small kiosk and simple dining.
