Stay and eat well at Straand
When you come to visit us at Straand, you can both sleep and eat well. The hotel has 125 pleasant and well-equipped rooms, all with TV and wireless internet. We have handicap and allergy rooms. Straand is known for delicious homemade and traditional food, and we serve you both local, Norwegian and exotic flavors. Central to the hotel are the old living rooms with warm, timber walls, collectibles and traditional furniture. In these rooms, there is a calm and comfortable atmosphere that invites you to relax and quiet moments whether you are alone or with others. In the original part of the hotel, the old style has been preserved. The old timber walls contribute to a warm atmosphere.
HISTORIC ROOMS
Do you want to feel a little extra on the hotel’s historical buzz? Then we can offer both single and double rooms in historic style with timber walls, traditional furniture and a very special atmosphere. All anniversary rooms have a TV, desk and bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.
STANDARD DOUBLE ROOM
Everything is in place for a pleasant stay for two people at Straand. Our double rooms contain 2 single beds or 1 double bed, desk, armchair or sofa and TV. The bathrooms have a shower or bath, toilet and hairdryer.
FAMILY
Are you coming with the whole family? Then we have family rooms with double bed, double sofa bed, desk and TV. The rooms have a bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.
DEMI SUITES
Do you want that little extra? On the ground floor there is a bedroom with a double bed, desk, TV, telephone, coffee machine and bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. On the second floor there is a living room with a sofa bed and TV as well as a lovely balcony.
HANDICAP ROOM
Do you want a room with extra good accessibility? Our handicap rooms have wide doors, large bathrooms and are otherwise spacious with plenty of room for wheelchairs. The rooms have a double bed and a TV. In addition, there is a sofa bed with room for any companion. The rooms have a large bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.
If there is a need for a chair in the shower or an elevator to the toilet, please let us know well in advance of arrival. We have two of this type of room. In addition, some of our family rooms can also be used as handicap rooms.
STANDARD SINGLE ROOM
You also live well alone at Straand. The single rooms contain a bed, desk and TV. The rooms have a bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.
