About Straand

Had the solid timber walls in the historic living rooms been able to speak, they would have had much to tell about the life and activities of earlier times. Straand has an interesting and eventful past that today’s hosts Katrine and Lars Arne Straand are proud to manage, and they have a strong desire to further develop and pass on this gem of Telemark’s cultural heritage to the next generation. Straand started as a bus station and is still a cornerstone company – now with modern facilities and traditional concepts.
