Vrådal Golf Course has been named Norway’s best golf course and is one of Norway’s most beautiful 9-hole courses located on an island in Vrådal. Here you can play in magnificent surroundings surrounded by Lake Nisser, mountain and forest landscapes. Straand Hotel can also be a HUB if you want to play golf elsewhere in Telemark.
On Fossøy in the upper part of Lake Nisser you will find the course that was recently named Norway’s best golf course.
Here you are most welcome whether you have extensive golf experience or are a beginner. The golf community offers both courses, instructors and arranges tournaments, in addition to the course having its own café and pro shop. You can get here by water, on foot across the locks or by car.

On Fossøy at the north end of Lake Nisser you will find Vrådal Golf.
The golf course is surrounded by mountains, lakes and forests.

Vrådal Golf Club has four golf carts for rent. If you want to book a golf cart, you can book it through Golfbox.
Perfect your swing in Simulator Golf in Kviteseid, 15 minutes from the hotel. Here you can practice your game or have fun with friends and family.
