Straand Bilfinale is this year’s happening in Vrådal for car people. We warmly welcome all types of cars, clubs and car enthusiasts to an exciting season finale in Vrådal on 25–27 September 2026.
The weekend offers Afterdrive with host Benny Christensen, car show with trophy prizes, Flying Start at the airstrip in Fyresdal, Early Bird to the top of Vrådal Panorama, mini-lectures, activities and a concert.
An event that has grown from the first year. TV2 Broom, Viaplay Motorpod and BilNorge are covering the event as “an Oslo Motor Show on tour”.

Børning actor Trond Halbo takes us into the cars. We meet, among others, Torjus Kubberud Alten and his Ford Crown Victoria police car from the USA, Kristoffer Strand’s Fast and Furious replica of a Mitsubishi Eclipse, and Odd-Egil Andreassen’s self-rebuilt Volvo Amazon 1968.
“You have to go to East Berlin and pick up a hearse!” was the message car painter and stunt driver Eivind Lindstrand from Hønefoss received from the producers ahead of the film Børning 3. He tells the story together with Trond Halbo.

Organized driving on a closed track — without the element of competition. Learn to handle your own car better.
The purpose is to learn how to handle their own car better and further develop the drivers’ driving skills. Planned exercises are Autoslalom and Street-Legal according to regulations from Motorsport Norway. We contribute to the zero vision in injury statistics on Norwegian roads by creating safer and more secure drivers.
The event manager is Eddie Mathisen. Course instructor Vidar Lavoll and his team have experience from similar events. The safety of drivers, participants, officials and spectators is a top priority. Helmets are mandatory for both driver and passenger. All drivers must attend the mandatory driver’s meeting and have a valid driver’s license.
