Welcome to a weekend filled with great flavors, culture and history
Historic Aass Brewery, Arendal Brewery and Straand Hotel, together with the friends of Drammenølets Venner and Arendal Bryggeriets Venner, have put together a weekend with a focus on beer as culture, beer enthusiasm and a good atmosphere.
You choose whether you want to join all or part of the weekend.

Friday

19:00 – Dinner with German/Austrian traditional dishes by Gerfride Marschallinger, stories and lectures and musical entertainment

Saturday

10:00 – Beer is culture by Terje Aass, 4th generation brewer family.
Kveik & traditional brewing, beer tasting history, drinking vessels, beer and food and more

11:15 – Smell, taste and enjoy by Espen smith.*
Beer and chocolate in complete harmony. Chocolate from Heimdal Chokolade
12:30 – “Sausage lunch” in Vrådalsalen
13:15 – The development of the microbreweries by Aasmund Rinde, formerly Fjellbryggeriet*
One of the first microbreweries established in Norway and the development in recent years. Interspersed with some funny stories.
14:30 – Beer and brewing by Kjetil Jikiun, Solo Brewery*
Diversity and creativity (or lack thereof) in a global and historical perspective.
19:00 – Party evening
Opening by representatives from the boards of the Friends of Drammensølet and Arendalsbryggeriet.

Elsa McTaggart duo comes from Ireland and plays Irish music, country and rock.
