From Straand Hotel, you can head to Rauland and join a completely unique experience with the Telemark Husky Tour – an hour’s sleigh ride through snow-covered plains, pulled by eager huskies who love to run!
This is a perfect activity for families, couples and groups of friends who want some excitement, fresh air and a real winter atmosphere. You will receive both instruction and safe guidance before the trip starts – and along the way you will feel mastery, silence and cooperation with the dogs in a magical winter landscape.
Two people get their own sled with 5 dogs. First, everyone is given instructions on how to use the sled, and how to cooperate with the dogs. The hike is about 5 km long, and will take about 30-40 minutes. The adults who want to drive the sled will change halfway, so that everyone can try it. In total, the entire program will last about 60 minutes.
