The old storehouse at Straand Hotel is furnished as a cozy trapper’s cabin in winter. Here we serve piping hot venison stew with refreshments. Outside Trapper’s Cabin, we are happy to light the fire pit and give you something hot in the cup to build up the atmosphere. The offer is suitable for companies, groups of friends or families who want a little extra winter coziness!

PRICE: NOK 495 (supplement for those with half board: NOK 200)

INFO: Tuesdays in the winter season from week 3 and until Easter (first time Tue. 13th of January). We meet at the reception at Straand Hotel at. 19:00 o’clock. 19.00.

INCLUDED: On arrival, we serve mulled wine around the fire. Inside Trapper’s Cabin we serve venison stew with local ingredients and mashed potatoes. The whole thing is topped with lingonberries. The signature dessert veiled peasant girls at the end of the meal. Along the way, there will be storytelling and light entertainment. Drinks can be purchased from the bar.

EQUIPMENT: Put on warm clothes to sit outside in front of the fire.

DIFFICULTY: You do not need any prior knowledge.
