We offer our guests experiences and activities where Vrådal’s beautiful nature and Straand Hotel’s history are some of the ingredients.
We arrange and carry out, in collaboration with good partners, events that provide an experience out of the ordinary throughout the year. We help you put the spotlight on the event according to your wishes and needs and ensure a professional and quality-assured implementation, be it kick-off, team building, event, Christmas party, host, humor.
Of outdoor activities, we can offer mountain hiking with a guide, canoe trip, trail cycling, climbing in the mountains, snowshoeing, ski trips, ski instruction and team building with competitions.
We have extensive experience with courses, conferences and other types of events. Personal follow-up from the first inquiry is something we attach great importance to. We listen to wishes and requirements and do our utmost to make everything possible. It can be small or large groups, each guest is equally important.
The indoor meeting rooms are of different sizes. The entire hotel has wireless network and standard AV equipment.

Vrådalsalen has a total area of approx. 660 square meters, and it can be divided into several smaller meeting rooms. The large space means that we can accommodate 400 meeting participants in one hall. In addition, we have several smaller meeting halls and as many as 18 group rooms.
Good quality of air, light, sound and image is a matter of course and in Vrådalsalen all this is well taken care of. Technical details for all meeting rooms can be found in the table below.
Easy access to the halls is important when “rigging” a lot of equipment. A drive-through gate with a height of 4.5 meters straight into the hall makes rigging up and dismantling easy.
Vrådalsalen has a cozy break area where coffee, break food and simple meals are served.
