A typical winter day with us starts with breakfast at the hotel, before the two youngest generations perhaps get on the shuttle bus over to the Vrådal Panorama ski resort for a few hours on the slopes. The grandparents may choose to relax a little extra at the hotel, before they get on their feet and have a lovely stroll in beautiful Telemark nature over to the facility.

At lunch, they may meet in the café in Vrådal Panorama for coffee and something else, before the younger ones rush down the slopes again. The great thing about Vrådal Panorama is that all the alpine slopes end at the same shelter, so you don’t have to worry about whether your children or grandchildren end up in the neighboring valley on the other side of the mountain. In the afternoon, you can take the shuttle bus together back to Straand Hotel. Here you can relax in front of the fireplace at the hotel after an active day out in the fresh air.

And if it’s Saturday, we’ve danced the roof terrace for après-ski – with a fire in the fire pit and stumps with skins to sit on, sausages with bread or lompe as well as cured meats, coffee and cocoa, some music and a good atmosphere!

After a good dinner together, it can also tempt you to have some fresh air in the evening. Then you can go tobogganing on the alpine slopes or go ice skating at the parking lot in Vrådal Panorama.
