At the hotel we have a swimming pool and sauna, and at the top of Vrådal Panorama – right nearby – you can take a dip and enjoy the beautiful sauna.

Alpine skiing and paddling
You can frolic in Vrådal Panorama ski center in the winter or kayak and canoe in our lakes in the summer. See paddling routes here.
HUB Golfing
Vrådal boasts one of Norway’s most beautiful 9-hole courses located on Fossøy – with its own driving range for water. We can provide a golf instructor!
HUB Riding / Driving
HUB Riding offers driving routes in beautiful scenery for cars and motorcycles. See routes here. We offer introductory courses to motorcycles with professional instructors.
HUB Biking
Telemark offers hairpin bends with beautiful scenery and panoramic views. See routes for country roads and terrain here. We offer guided rebus races with GPS tasks along the way.

Bestemorstua is an intimate venue for up to 50 people. The tables are set with white tablecloths, and here we serve lunch, dinner, party menu and 5-course gourmet.

The wine cellar at Straand is ideal for smaller groups of up to 20 people. With candles and rustic surroundings, it creates a very special atmosphere around the meal. We offer wine packages adapted to the menu.

The fireplace lounge is the place where Knut Hamsun was served his dinner when he visited the hotel. Suitable for aperitifs with or without storytelling and coffee avec after dinner if desired. Enjoy the historic rush from the thick timber walls in the heart of the hotel!

A good starting point for team building
Stabburet is Norway’s smallest inn, with room for 20 people! Here we serve cured meats or game stew and mulled wine in the black pot. With leather traps, torch boxes and a fire pit, there will be a magical atmosphere. It was here in the yard at Bestemorstoga that our story started in 1864. If you want a historical cultural feature, it can be booked!

Lock cruise
The veteran boat MS Fram creates a very special setting for the management gathering. Here you can be served lunch on board at the pier or out on the water. The boat has dining seating for up to 40 people and sails from the hotel and around the beautiful inland archipelago at Nisser.

For those groups who want that little extra, we collaborate with TG Event and can tailor entertainment to your liking. Some popular activities are Kompani Kittilsen, Team-Rep exercise, UL (Olympic Games), 59.3’nord and Robinson.
