HOSTS: Lars Arne and Katrine Straand are 5th generation hosts from the same family at the historic Straand Hotel. Here you can sleep, eat and find peace in historic surroundings.
PERSONAL SERVICE: Anne Lise Herbjørgsdatter at Straand Hotel has worked all her life in the service profession and has been named Service Hero of the Year in the hotel chain De Historiske. She treats our guests with love – no matter their age!

PLAY, FUN AND EXPERIENCES: In Vrådal, the whole family can play: try alpine or cross-country skiing, take an ice bath and sauna and relax with good food, board games and coziness in the historic living rooms at Straand Hotel. From Vrådal it is also a short distance to Gaustatoppen, the stave church in Eidsborg and other excursion points. In winter, you can also have unique experiences in the evening, whether you want to relax in the sauna under the moon or go stargazing in the mountains in Vrådal.
