Good food from local ingredients is absolutely central to us at Straand Hotel. Here you can experience the real taste of Fjell-Telemark! See our menus below, find what you want, sit back and enjoy a delicious meal with someone you love. We also offer take away.

LUNCH MENU

From 12:00 to 18:00 you can eat different lunch dishes from our lunch menu in the piano bar or on the roof terrace (in summer).

MIDDAY

We serve either a 3-course menu or a tasty dinner buffet depending on the day’s occupancy.
During the high season from 1 July to mid-September, we serve a dinner buffet.
We have table seating every half hour from 19.00 to 21.00. Price NOK 595 per person (NOK 300 for children up to 12 years).

BREAKFAST

During the high season from 1 July to mid-September, a delicious breakfast is served from 07.30 to 10.00. Breakfast buffet or breakfast plate, depending on the day’s occupancy. Price NOK 175 per person (NOK 90 for children up to 12 years).

5-COURSE GOURMET

We recommend our five-course gourmet menu.
Price from NOK 1,150 per person. Wine packages from NOK 1.050,-

Our banquet menu consists of various 3-course feasts. From 19:00–21:00. Price from NOK 695 per person (from NOK 450 for children up to 12 years).

delicious dishes from our lunch menu.
It contains small dishes, sandwiches and
dishes of the day.

A tasting experience with 3 tastings of local ingredients, with adapted wines. Minimum 4 people.

Christmas party at Straand Hotel

On Saturdays from 19 November to 17 December, we have traditional Christmas food and entertainment.
Prices from NOK 675 per person for Christmas dinner and entertainment.

APERITIF WITH STORYTELLING

For those who want that little extra to the aperitif, the hosts can tell you about the history of Straand Hotel, which stretches all the way back to 1864.

We put together a great cured meat evening with delicacies from the region and national ingredients.

Afternoon Tea

A warm welcome to Afternoon Tea in our historic living rooms from 1864 or in our apple orchard. We serve finger sandwiches, freshly baked scones and sweet delicacies with tea. Price NOK 495 per person. We recommend ordering some bubbly drinks with it.
Served from 13:00 to 17:00.
