Silversmith’s yard in Vrådal
Right next to Straand Hotel in Vrådal is Sølvsmedtunet. This is where Astrid Søftestad has her workshop where she forges brooches, paints and brooches according to rich Telemark traditions. There she also sells a varied selection of jewellery, silverware and souvenirs.
On the second floor of Sølvsmedtunet is Nisseloftet, furnished in an old living room. Here Santa lives together with hundreds of Christmas things. At Nisseloftet you can write Christmas cards all year round, which are collected and sent out in time for Christmas with your own Christmas stamp.
Awkward guesthouse
Head to Kvipt. This beautiful mountain farm is located on the outskirts of the Setesdalsheiene mountains near Fyresdal.
Ceramics and rose-painted products are made and sold here.
