Dine like Knut Hamsun in the fireplace room, enjoy the view of Nisser from the Grandmother's room, raise a glass while sailing around the lake in MS Fram, or get a taste of the real Telemark in the wine cellar or Stabburet. Peisestua is the place where Knut Hamsun was served his dinner when he visited the hotel. Suitable for aperitifs with or without storytelling and coffee with after dinner if you wish. Enjoy the historical buzz from the thick timber walls in the heart of the hotel!

Great starting point for team building
Stabburet is Norway's smallest inn, with room for 20 people! Here we serve cured meat or game stew and mulled wine in the black pot. With leather traps, torch boxes and fire pans, the atmosphere is magical. It was here in the courtyard at Bestemorstoga that our story began in 1864. If you would like a historical cultural event, it can be booked!
