Stay and eat well on Straand
When you visit us at Straand, you can both sleep and eat well. The hotel has 125 pleasant and well-equipped rooms, all with TV and wireless internet. We have disabled and allergy rooms. Straand is known for delicious home-made and traditional food, and we serve you both local, Norwegian and exotic flavors. Central to the hotel are the old living rooms with warm, patched timber walls, collectibles and traditional furniture. In these rooms there is a calm and comfortable atmosphere that invites to relaxation and quiet moments whether you are alone or with others. In the original part of the hotel, the old style is preserved. The old timber walls contribute to a warm atmosphere.
HISTORICAL ROOMS
Do you want to feel a little extra on the hotel's historic buzz? Then we can offer both single and double rooms in historical style with timber walls, traditional furniture and a very special atmosphere. All anniversary rooms have a TV, desk and bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.
DEMI-SUITER
Do you want that little extra? Then our demi suites are for you. On the ground floor there is a bedroom with double bed, desk, TV, telephone, coffee machine and bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer. On the ground floor there is a living room with sofa bed and TV as well as a lovely balcony.
HANDICAPROM
Do you want a room with extra good accessibility? Our handicap rooms have wide doors, large bathrooms and are otherwise spacious with plenty of space for a wheelchair. Rooms have a double bed and a TV. In addition, there is a sofa bed with space for any companion. The rooms have a large bathroom with shower, toilet and hairdryer.
If there is a need for a chair in the shower or elevate to the toilet, please let us know well in advance of arrival. We have two types of this room. In addition, some of our family rooms can also be used as handicap rooms.
