Veteran boat
Our venerable vintage ship M/S Fram is a great alternative for both transportation and celebrations. We are happy to pick up wedding guests at the church. After a lovely round on the golf course at Fossøy, we can pick you up at the lock and take you on a great after-golf cruise.
The ship, which was built in 1909, has capacity for 90 guests with a sundeck and indoor dining.
Here we can serve sparkling drinks and different types of food such as tapas or cured meats.
Vintage car and Veteran bus
Straand has throughout the ages been an important hub for travelers and the driving rules live on in the hotel.
We have several vintage cars at our disposal, including a 1969 Cadillac DeVille Convertible, which can be used for driving in connection with their celebration.
We can also provide a veteran bus for larger groups who need transport.
Transportation
We at Straand Hotel have a car and minibus that can be used to transport our guests and can also organize bus transport for larger groups if needed.
We also have good connections to various veteran clubs that are happy to provide old vehicles or buses if you want a slightly out of the ordinary transportation.
