Welcome to Straand-Treffet 2024, a worthy end to the motorcycle season. Here you can test ride many motorcycles from different dealers and importers, take part in a guided tour on beautiful motorcycle roads and meet others who think motorcycles are great! Test rides and the rest of the program are free, remember to book accommodation well in advance if you plan to stay the whole weekend.
About the event
Test ride your dream bike in beautiful Telemark! This is the 6th time the Straand meeting is being held. Here you get a good professional program with lectures, test rides of over 100 motorcycles and award ceremonies. With the growth and success of previous years, we're planning another great event in 2024.
Everyone is welcome to test drive the motorcycles, only a pre-registration based on a valid driver's license is required.

There are 30-minute test drive times, the motorcycles are provided by dealers and importers with a deductible in the event of damage. There are predefined test routes through densely populated areas, beautiful hairpin bends in the Kviteseidklei river and fun turns along Nisser and Vråvatn. Simply driving in beautiful Telemark terrain. Drive wisely!.

Friday, September 20
15:00 onwards Welcome and check-in
17.00 - 18.00 Welcome to Straand Treffet, mingling and social welcome, opportunities for "support beer" in the conference hall, Vrådalssalen.
18.00 Welcome to Straand Treffet 2024 By meeting manager Trond Olsen, spin doctor for Straand Treffet Bjørn Richard Johansen, originator Ole-Andreas Isdahl and CEO of Straand Hotel Lars Arne Straand.
18.10 Ole-Andreas Isdahl, former freelance journalist from MC Avisa/Bike, among others, presents the 8 nominated bikes in a wonderful session with contributions from all sides.
19:25 Meet manager Trond Olsen will probably have to slow down "Ole Ohm" who has gone berserk over this year's news and we have to go in for landing.
19:30 and beyond Dinner
Saturday, September 21st
- 08.00 and beyond Breakfast
- 08:30 am. Panorama tour for "Early birds" - we drive to the top of Vrådal. Approx. 12 minute tour - for photo and coffee. Return again at 09.00. Then it's a great time for breakfast for those who have participated in Early Bird, if you didn't have time for it from 08.00 - 08.30.
09.00 and onwards Test drive of new bikes. The form to try out bikes is filled out in the secretariat, which you will find out in the square / adjacent to the reception.
- 09.00 Various activities depending on your own wishes, options:
- Test drive for those who want it throughout the day
- Hubriding - driving out groups that are marked in the square
- Your own program - which you are responsible for throughout the day. Feel free to ask us for tips on driving tours and other things in the area
- 11:00, 13:00 and 14:30 Meeting manager Tond Olsen has a chat with interesting personalities out on the place of honor
- 16:00 Social gathering at the hotel and veranda We gather for a social gathering on the terrace and in the hotel.
- 19.00 and beyond Dinner
Sunday September 22nd
- 08.00 and beyond Breakfast
