Welcome to a weekend filled with good flavors, culture and history
Historic Aass Bryggeri, Arendal Bryggeri and Straand Hotel, together with the friend associations Drammenølets venner and Arendal Bryggeriets venner, have put together a weekend focusing on beer as culture, beer enthusiasm and good atmosphere.
You choose whether you want to participate for all or part of the weekend.

19:00 - Dinner with German/Austrian traditional dishes by Gerfride Marschallinger, stories and lectures and musical entertainment

Saturday

10:00 - Beer is culture by Terje Aass, 4th generation brewing family.
Kveik & traditional brewing, beer history, drinking vessels, beer and food and more

11:15 - Smell, taste and enjoy by Espen smith.*
Beer and chocolate in complete harmony. Chocolate from Heimdal Chokolade
 
12:30 - "Sausage lunch" in Vrådalsalen Hall
 
13:15 - The development of microbreweries by Aasmund Rinde, formerly of Fjellbryggeriet*
One of the first microbreweries established in Norway and the development in recent years. Interspersed with some funny stories.
 
14:30 - Beer and brewing by Kjetil Jikiun, Solo Brewery*
Diversity and creativity (or lack thereof) in a global and historical perspective.
 
19:00 - Festive evening
Opening by representatives from the boards of Drammensølets venner and Arendalsbryggeriets venner.
 

Elsa McTaggart duo comes from Ireland and plays Irish music, country and rock.
